The Best Prime Day Deals on Our Picks (October 2026)
Emile Choghi
By Emile Choghi

Emile Choghi covers tech and home-office gear, with an eye for the little upgrades that make a workday run more smoothly.

Amazon’s October Prime Day, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, runs Tuesday, October 6, and Wednesday, October 7. Thousands of products are marked down, but a red badge and a crossed-out list price don’t always mean a good deal. Plenty of “deals” match prices from a few weeks ago, and some list prices are higher than anyone actually pays.

So instead of browsing Amazon’s deal pages, we started with our own recommendations. On the morning of day one, we checked the current Amazon price of every product featured in our buying guides and reviews, 317 in all. Then we compared each discount with the product’s price history. About 110 of our picks were on sale. The deals below are the ones we would actually buy: discounted products we already recommend, at prices that are at or near their lowest, or that are rare discounts on products that seldom go on sale.

Prices were accurate when we checked on the morning of October 6 and can change at any time. Deals marked Prime Big Deal require an Amazon Prime membership, and popular items can sell out before the event ends on Wednesday night.

Robot Vacuum and Vacuum Deals

Robot vacuums get some of the deepest discounts of any category during Prime Day, and this year all three of our top robots are on sale. Two of them are at new lows.

Eufy Omni C28

Eufy Omni C28

$449.99 (was $799.99)

Our favorite robot vacuum, with a dock that empties the bin, washes and dries the mop roller, and refills the robot's water tank.

The Eufy Omni C28 is the top pick in our robot vacuum guide because its self-rinsing roller mop and do-it-all dock are usually reserved for robots that cost hundreds more. At $449.99, it ties the lowest price it has ever sold for on Amazon, and it typically sells for about $540. This is the deal we would jump on first.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2

$784.99 (was $1,299.99)

Our upgrade robot for carpet-heavy homes, with stronger suction and a lift-and-extend mop system.

The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 is the robot we recommend for homes with a lot of carpet. Its previous low was $849.99, so $784.99 is the best price yet on a robot that has averaged more than $1,000.

Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete

Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete

$1,179.99 (was $1,699.99)

The specialist pick for pet hair, low furniture, and tall thresholds, now at its lowest price.

The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is still a splurge, but $1,179.99 undercuts its previous low by about $165. Choose it over the Roborock if you have pets or furniture with very little clearance.

Shark PowerDetect Cordless

Shark PowerDetect Cordless

$379.99 (typically $545)

A cordless stick vacuum whose dock empties the bin for you, matching its best-ever price.

The Shark PowerDetect from our cordless stick vacuum guide ties its all-time low. Its self-emptying dock is the main reason to choose it over a Dyson, and at this price it costs less than most Dyson models without one.

Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV352

Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV352

$129.99 (typically $179.99)

A dependable, inexpensive upright that handles hard floors and low-pile carpet well.

The Shark Navigator NV352 is one of the best vacuums you can buy for under $200, and at $129.99 it is $50 below its typical price.

Vitamix 5200

Vitamix 5200

$344.95 (was $499.95)

The classic high-performance blender, with a long warranty and a motor that handles smoothies, soups, and nut butters.

The Vitamix 5200 is the top pick in our blender guide and the subject of our full review. It has averaged about $440 on Amazon over the years, so $344.95 is a strong price for a blender that should last a decade or more. It has occasionally sold for less, with a low of $259.95 in 2019.

Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro

A large countertop oven that air fries, toasts, roasts, and dehydrates, and does all of it well.

The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is the countertop oven we recommend in our air fryer guide and review. Its all-time low is $299.95, so this $80 discount comes close.

Panasonic HomeChef 4-in-1 Multi-Oven

A microwave, air fryer, convection oven, and broiler in one appliance, at a new low price.

The Panasonic HomeChef from our microwave guide combines a microwave with a convection oven and air fryer. It had never dropped below $424.99 before today.

Breville Barista Touch

Breville Barista Touch

$799.95 (was $999.95)

A beginner-friendly espresso machine with a built-in grinder and a touchscreen that walks you through each drink.

The Breville Barista Touch is the espresso machine in our home espresso guide for people who want café-style drinks without a learning curve. A $200 discount is a good price, though it did hit about $693 during last year’s holiday sales.

Fellow Stagg EKG Pro

Fellow Stagg EKG Pro

$159.95 (was $199.95)

A precise gooseneck kettle for pour-over coffee and tea, matching the lowest price it has sold for.

The Fellow Stagg EKG Pro rarely goes on sale. At $159.95, it matches its lowest price, which it has reached only once before.

Hamilton Beach Set & Forget 6 Quart

Our favorite slow cooker, with a probe thermometer that switches to warm when meat reaches temperature.

Bose QuietComfort Headphones

Comfortable, effective noise-cancelling headphones at less than half their list price.

The original Bose QuietComfort Headphones from our noise-cancelling headphones guide have been replaced by a second-generation model, but they remain some of the most comfortable headphones you can wear for a long flight. At $169, they cost about half the price of the second-generation model. Read our full review for more.

Sony WH-1000XM6

Sony WH-1000XM6

$378 (was $459.99)

Sony's flagship noise-cancelling headphones, with class-leading noise cancellation and call quality.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 is the top pick in our noise-cancelling headphones guide, and it is $82 off. Choose these over the Bose if you want the strongest noise cancellation and app-based sound customization.

Our favorite MacBook for most people, in the 15-inch size, for $200 off.

The 15-inch MacBook Air with M5 from our laptop guide is $200 off. Apple discounts are modest this year, so this is about as good as MacBook deals get outside of Black Friday.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

$149.99 (was $199.99)

A fast, waterproof e-reader with a 7-inch glare-free screen and weeks of battery life.

Deals We Would Skip

Some of our picks are on sale but not at prices worth rushing for:

  • TCL QM6K (55-inch), $497.99. It sold for $397.99 last November, and TVs usually get their best prices around Black Friday.
  • Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen), $369. They dropped to $299.99 in April. Wait, or buy the original QuietComfort Headphones above for $169.
  • Sony LinkBuds Fit, $178. They have sold for as little as $128.
  • Ninja Professional Plus Blender, $89.99. It is a fine price, but the blender has been $60 before.

How We Chose These Deals

Every product on this page is one we already recommend in a buying guide or review. On the morning of October 6, we checked the Amazon price of all 317 products in our guides. We then compared each sale price against the product’s Amazon price history and its typical selling price, and we cross-checked our findings against other deal trackers.

We left out discounts that only look good next to an inflated list price, products that were out of stock or sold only by third-party sellers at higher prices, and deals that beat a recent price by a few dollars.
