Is the Surface Laptop 5 Still Sold?
Not new. Microsoft replaced it in 2024 with the Surface Laptop 7th Edition, which moved to Qualcomm Snapdragon chips, and it has since added a smaller, cheaper Surface Laptop 13-inch and a second Snapdragon generation. The newer Snapdragon Surface Laptops get much longer battery life, run cooler and quieter, and will get updates for years longer. They use Arm processors, and while most Windows apps run well, some older software, games with anti-cheat, and specialty drivers may not.
